Just watched a video on this. Looks amazing.

I love zombie stuff and loved this game so I cant wait to get this. Just need my folks to go away!!

Anyone else tried it yet?

Yeah, when my copy arrives this is probably what I'll spend the time on. Don't care for westerns, but who doesn't love zombies?!

About 3 hours in, its getting tedious.

Not really enjoying it, just doing the same thing over and over.

It's just going around clearing out the towns, do a mission, town you just cleared out gets overrun, do a mission and repeat.

Well the reviews so far have been really good.

But this is my point with things Rockstar do -- the critics all touch themselves over it and ignore any and all flaws.

Meanwhile, I've never even remotely enjoyed a rockstar game, besides when I was about 12, spawning flying tanks in GTA: Vice City. And that got old after about an hour.

Interesting. I had this problem with dead rising 2.
If you had to say which was better what would you go for?

I love the idea of zombie games but I actually properly brick it when I play them. I can only play L4D2 after about 6 beers and with people I know, not randoms.

I'll give this a go like, really enjoyed the game, but if it's just zombie slaughter and no story then it's a massive waste.

It has the bare minimum of what you could call a story, it baiscally feals like RDR side missions with cutscenes.

The clearing out towns plays similar to GTA:SA gang wars.

Got this earlier. Seems ok. But I can imagine it getting repetitive if it just involves clearing out towns. Still, not bad for a fiver or whatever.

Oh and the multiplayer sounds fun.

Rockstar are now doing this as a stand alone game for £18, might be worth getting the disc, rather than downloading (so it doesnt take up room on the hard drive)

I've quite enjoyed it so far. Just got into Mexico.

Thought the 4 horses of the apocolypse was a pretty cool idea. Apparently there is a unicorn too (gay), the sasquatch and chubacabra also make appearances.

It's much funnier than RDR, no great challenge, just fun. Although towns getting over run again after you've cleared them out gets on my tits a bit.
