Everton is celebrating record-breaking Season Ticket and strong hospitality sales with almost 31,000 seats already sold for the 2016/17 campaign.

The Blues have now sold eight out of every ten seats meaning the best way to guarantee a seat for the Premier League fixtures at Goodison Park next term is by purchasing a Season Ticket.

With two months of sales still to go, the Club has sold almost 1,500 more Season Tickets than the previous highest final total in 2014/15. The current total represents almost 3,500 more Season Tickets than the equivalent period last year, approaching a 15% increase across both Season Ticket and hospitality sales, and stands at 7,700 more than the total number from just five seasons ago, an increase of one-third.

Despite the closure of the Early Bird window, a 2016/17 Everton Season Ticket still offers great value for money with prices for adults starting at £515 – just £27 per game. Young adults and seniors can buy for £359, less than £20 per game, whilst kids and junior prices remain fixed at the Early Bird prices of £95 and £149, just £5 and £8 per game respectively.

Robert Elstone, Everton’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We would like to thank our supporters for committing their support to the Club for the 2016/17 season. These numbers reflect the dedication of our fans, an appreciation of the Club’s approach to ticket prices and of course, anticipation for the season ahead.

“Back in March when we announced the new pricing structure, our aim was to give something back to our fans and demonstrate how much we appreciate their support. We acknowledged the amazing new TV deal and felt it only right that we shared some of that uplift with our fans. It is extremely pleasing to see such a positive response and I am particularly delighted to see that almost one-in-four of our record sales figure are young Season Ticket holders. The new pricing structure proves we have made football more affordable for all, and significantly so for our younger fans. It's really pleasing that we're changing the age profile of fans at Goodison and making a positive and enduring contribution to the future of the Club.”

Everton is continuing to offer a nine-month interest free payment option through MasterCard, and a Direct Debit facility available over seven monthly instalments, the deadline for which is 30 June*. There is no booking fee for online transactions.

Any idea where we are now with ST sales?
Just read on another thread that only 400 non obstructed seats left for Spurs .

33k?

Really good to hear this. Well done Everton, and Elstone has come across well here, should be good for his CV when he's job hunting next month ;)
I like that he's tied it to the TV deal, free away coaches etc is all well and good but it only affects the minority in the end (due to simple numbers, i.e. away ground capacity). To drop your home ST prices is a real gesture, one that does benefit the core and majority of Evertonians who spend money at the club. Well done to them.

That 25% ish of ST holders are kids is brilliant. Win back the city!

Yeah it's shocking, some of them you can see nothing at all apart from one of the screens. I'd rather not go than sit in one.

When I started out as a kid we had a season ticket behind one! Spent more time watching/talking about the Park End being built than the actual game. We used to go to the away games just to find out what the players looked like....Good times :)
