WHy not raid Portsmouth for a few players Krancjar and Lauren would be great players to boost the squad.

Krancjar: Superb playmaker who easily operates on the wing. Has been great for Pompey and is still young. Also his physical size is not bad either. £6-7 m.

Lauren: Experienced and a good player who will challenge Hibbo for a starting place. Is free and should have realistic contract demands.

I really dislike the fact we paid £15m for an unknown player on the grounds he is big. then when he gets here, he's slow, cumbersome, his distribution is poor and he preoccupies himself with trying to elbow people in the face, headbutt them, and attempt to end their careers - maybe to deflect from his lack of footballing ability.

Forgive me for having an extremely acid opinion of the guy but
1. we could have done so much better with the money
2. That kids see his behaviour and think it's how a footballer should act disgusts me.

Unknown? Hardly, he was being widely tracked according to many sources.

Bought him just because he's big? That is an advantage for us with our midget midfield but you really think that was Moyes' main reason for signing him?

Slow and cumbersome? Well, he's not quick off the mark I'll grant you that, blokes his size normally arn't but watch his link up play again sometime and cumbersome is not a word I'd use.

Yes he swings his elbow Turner, it's naughty but he's provoked by constant grappling tactics employed by defenders because of the fear he inspires.

Jumping with his arms out is again something which he'll have to get out of his game but even the hacks on Motd said it doesn't look intentional.

Headbutts? When?
Career ending incidents? Again when fella?

Over priced? Yes maybe he wasn't worth 15million on his potential alone while playing in Belgium, but I truely feel he is worth that now and will be worth more in the future. The finance was again widely reported not to be in place earlier in the window, that's why we had to bid high at the last minute.
 

Anyway, back to what this thread is for targets, not gripes.

Apparently stephen hunt is now available from reading for a cut price £3.5m, i'd have a bit of that to cover the left wing .

A bit extreme is an understatement. He's not nasty and he's not gonna end up with a charge against him either. He can be a little clumbersome with his arms but he is a very good footballer and Moyes had been tracking him for a while before we actually signed him. He was a very important player for us last season and will be again this term. As for being overpriced, so is everyone at the moment! Personally I think he has proved to be worth it.

He picked up a record 11 yellow cards before christmas for [Poor language removed] sake. He did this by gouging peoples faces and leaning his head into peoples faces, pushing and using every angular part of his body to inflict pain. I witnessed his shenanigans mainly at corners and free kicks around the box.

Simply put, I don't like him and you're a [Poor language removed]! now get back to the thread.

Most of his yellow cards were for stupid little foot in tackles. Nothing dirty in most of them, the odd 1 he appears to lead with his elbow, but its not dirty, its just the way he jumps.

Turner was trying to bum him, he deserved a slap.

I vividly remember in the FA Cup Quarter Final against Boro Fellaini being wrestled all over the shop in the box and held with hands in his face and he didn't retaliate. He's not a dirty player and he does not go out trying to inflict pain! Most fouls I've seen Fellaini commit are, like Goat said, silly ones like trips and foot ins.

And for what you called Gringo I hope you get banned.
 
Why ban him? He can keep posting forum diarrhoea and he'll keep on having his arse handed to him by whoever chooses to respond. If he is a WUM he's even failing spectacularly at that. :lol:
 
Apologies St.DomingosGringo it was juvenile of me to attack you like that.
The only two i dislike are him and pienaar, just my opinion on the guys. a few of my opinions may sound odd to some but i guess we are all entitled to see it differently.
