Realistic Aspirations For Next Season.

The next season is going to be interesting with way these clubs have been let lose with the money. Sure it is going to be tough probably harder than the last season but I think we can do it. Jag was brought in at a good price, if this other lad comes on a free, great experience and obviously no mug then that is two midfielders slowly but surely Moyes may be getting there. Touch wood, fingers crossed, where is my rabbit's foot damn it is still on the rabbit. Where is the knife I need the foot more than he does and Chico keeps posting. What more can you want.

I have a theory that in fact the sum involved in all the transfer dealings is only a total of about 50 mill. Club A pays x mill for player from Club B. Club B pay xmill for player from Club C who in turn pay Club D x mill for a player. Club D then fancy one of the players of Club A and pay x mill. How about that what goes round comes round.

I think both nugent and richardson will be sold on at half the price in 1 years time.

whether we think they are worth 3m and 2.5m each this time next year is yet to be seen.

I honestly think we will do better then all of these big spenders, I tell you what I might put some money on us finishing 3rd or 4th.

I wish we would have signed some more players but it seems apparent Moyes is still in the hunt.

Spending the money doesnt guarantee the success, but it helps.

Lets hope something big is lined up gentlemen, and Fernandes!

Im unsure, it is odd that this 'world class talent' that we could sell for massive profit in a few seasons hasnt been linked to any other clubs.

12 million is a lot of money, and does he have enough to his game to warrant such a hefty price tag.

i am unsure to say the least.

A whole lot of money and jointly owned isn't a good thing. Still if there a will theres a way. I bet Davey wants to be totally sure if he was to move for him outright. My bet is its another year long loan. Then see what the FA is up to on contracted players owned other than the clubs they play for. Once new rules and regulation are instituted then he will feel better about a move. He perhaps doesn't want to get caught in a sticky situation.

Hope for the loan deal. Would explain the silence since Moyes have stated that he wanted to complete his purchases before doing loans.

Wishfull thinking that a loandeal is next to completed for him? Would explain the silence about him from other clubs as well.

It's nice to see that we're exceeding expectations, even though some had some pretty high expectations in the summer. Hopefully with some prudent signings this month we can push on in the remainder of the season.
