That neck of the woods. We're staying on the other side of Bolzano in Corvara. Rare to find a place in Trentino that isn't lovely though, and the lake near Cles looks lovely.

Yeah, I camped there for a couple of weeks whilst waiting for the work to start, in fact it was the forest there that a local kept razzing me around in his Lancia Delta Integrale.
The Lake was only created to feed the apples btw, in Cles and many other towns you can get a free pasta meal off the priest & monks.
If you fancy a vino sesh then the Baron de Cles has a bar opposite his gaff & I've never drank white wine thats as refreshing, it was just like icy cold grape juice, worth getting some bottles as well cos you can only get it directly from him.
