RB Leipzig

RBL Transfer News

- Brian Brobbey's move back to Ajax should be announced shortly. The deal will be for over €20m inc. addons + resale % for a player brought to the club on a free last season. Absolute FFP monster if it was a thing in Germany.
- Konrad Laimer's projected move to Bayern is gaining traction after Leon Goretzka's surgery. Club bosses maintain they don't want to strengthen a rival, even less so Bayern, but has a sense of inevitability about this now.
- Nordi Mukiele, with only 12 months left on his contract, has reportedly been told to sign a new deal or go. There are reports he has agreed personal terms with PSG amid interest from United. Not even remotely fussed if he goes as long as another RWB is brought in.
- Ademola Lookman has been removed from first team training after being deemed not good enough (again) and to be sold.
- With Poulsen missing start of the season and Brobbey going there is definitely a need for a ST. Sorloth has been given a chance but reportedly played poorly in the first friendly but that would be a cost saver since no one seems to want to stump up for him. Recent rumours of a move to bring Werner back.
- Squad is still deemed to be too big, with Tedesco wanting 24, but inc. keepers I only count 22 so not sure who is missing there. Should see some more outgoings like Moriba on loan, youngsters Bonnah/Hartmann/Wosz for sale, Lookman and Sorloth etc.

I am expecting a Laimer replacement, a Mukiele replacement and a striker.

Just signed Ben Sesko on FM22, talk us through it Jimbo

He’s the next Haaland and if you want the next next Haaland sign Roko Simic also of Salzburg (though he may appear as playing for Liefering).

Both tall, very strong, very fast, super aggressive. Everyone will be clamouring to sign Sesko next Summer for sure.

Yep, frigging glad we don’t have to watch such gash players. Watching a crap load of rubbish goals week in and week out would make me give up on this football lark.
I'm comparing them to City's players and the likes. Not everything they do has to be compared to us. I know we're gash.

To be honest mate I don’t even worry about the RS, absolutely no point and it’s done me the world of good to completely ignore them.

I used to get uptight and straight forward angry at them and to be honest pretty jealous of them.

But since COVID completely screwed up my health I’ve learned that they are completely irrelevant to me, I couldn’t care who they signed or how they are doing.

It’s stressful enough worrying about the state we are in.

I keep hoping we’ll have a complete resurgence because as it stands in not doing my health much good ??

After having watching the game back now it really wasn't as bad as I expected from the scoreline.

1st goal - Complete brainfart in defense from a player that's just a sub so whatever there. (14:11)
2nd goal - New backup keeper gives away silly penalty. Should have saved pen as well. (1:11:30)
3rd goal - Kevin effing Kampl. (1:15:00)
4th goal - Again, getting robbed in midfield overplaying and then no one tracking their men in the box for the cutback. (1:32:20)
5th goal - Keeper again. (1:53.27)

The fact I had to describe 5 goals is alarming but it was basically RBL vs RBL on 4 of them. Still some glaring holes in the team (fast attacker, strong 6, better right wing back) but still time for those to come. David Raum does not fill a glaring hole except for being a level up on Angelino.

Also disgusting how RBL broadcast this live on their YouTube channel with a full on kopite commentating.
