I’ve been reading up on him and apparently he’s all physical attributes with very average technical so can’t see him getting far in his career. Akinfenwa.
Any update mate on what Leipzig are going to do regarding the rs game?
The government are adamant the game cannot take place in Leipzig with no special dispensation given to pro athletes due to the new strain(s) in England. There are a few options that are being explored and must be decided at the club by 8th Feb:
- Postpone the two Round of 16 legs to a later date (the travel ban in Germany ends a day after the first leg).
- RBL moves their home game to Hungary/Russia/Salzburg/London.
- Game is forfeit for a 3-0 defeat.
There was a funny translation in the German media when explaining why there's a travel ban "in order not to drag mutants of the Corona virus into the country" - thought that was quite apt for the RS.

Russia would be great, make the rs travel as far as possible.
It's annoying but a sensible decision in regards to COVID > football for once. It'll be a ballache of a game wherever it's played.

It's an away trip to lowly Schalke this afternoon for the Germans. One of those games you'd think will be a comfortable win, some big victories in the past and Schalke being crap but thought that with Mainz and they somehow lost. Potential acca buster. Looks like yet another RWB/RM role for Adams which I absolutely hate but ah well. Schalke debut for Mustafi.
