RB Leipzig

2-2 FT

2 points dropped all things considered. Dominated the game after the equaliser with plenty of chances. Good to not get beat and results should now improve with players like Nkunku and Kluivert getting back fit. Yet another poop error from the stat junkies fave Upamecano.

RBL Matchday

Back in action with the final game of the Hinrunde at home to in form - and punching - Union Berlin. Recent form is good against Union (4W, 1D) but again the team are really struggling for goals at the minute. I don't believe the small ball line-up will work here but I also don't trust Poulsen or Sorloth to slot right now. Second half performance vs Wolfsburg was brilliant but needs to be a 90 minute showing and they need to start putting chances away. 4 goal Angelino being top scorer is just not good enough. No fresh injury worries.

Game is LIVE on BT Sport Extra 2 @ 7.30pm GMT

0-0

Union have defended brilliantly so far with RBL quickly running out of ideas. First proper chance for RBL after a strong run from Sorloth releases Nkunku in the box but he somehow blazes over. Blames a bobble.

1-0 FT

Great victory against a solid and confident Union side. Still can’t be relying on the defence to see them through. Remain 2nd but 4 points behind Bayern which is probably enough for the title even at this stage.

Much improved performance from Sørloth actually.

RBL Matchday

First game in the second part of the season against basement dwellers Mainz. Some large scoring games in the past with them and should be beating them comfortably after they've just sent their best attacker to Palace. This is the game the RBL forwards should be getting their confidence back and hopefully Sorloth starts to slot after his great performance at Union.

Tyler Adams starts but I fear it's at RB/RWB where he's completely wasted.

1-0 RBL

Been all over them like a rash since the first minute. Sabitzer smacks the crossbar and Ty Adams slots the rebound in.

Another horrendous pitch though; played on better in the my local league.
