RB Leipzig

I mean it's probably that the quality of team in front of him in those games is much better than the one he's on like lol

But yeah not a spectacular keeper by any means, "does a decent job" usually at least. Even in that game he had quite a few good saves tbh

The standard of keeping in that league is wild to be fair - some are really good, some really poop, he's on the lower end of the spectrum. Even Florian Muller (Stuttgart) is usually pretty decent but looked shaky last night, also played for Freiburg, maybe it's a thing.

Muller was loaned to Freiburg to replace Schwolow, I think, so yeah, Freiburg curse.

Side note - a lot of good keepers in the BuLi recently, either still young or "young for a keeper".

Good to see many new faces like...

Or do a Bayern and buy out the best keeper currently not at Bayern because your own got stupidly injured, I guess.

Yeh I was sad Sommer would go there to be a backup once Neuer comes back, whenever that is, but also happy Nubel gave them the ol' finger when they tried to recall him.

They play PSG right? Ulreich was always good enough until apparently this year so going out and flat out buying the next best keeper means they probably consider Neuer to be finished, right?

Also on topic - RBL play City, tough one for em.

Well Ulreich is okay but Sommer is better and if you can get him for less than £10m it's a no brainer for me.

Yep, City will go through but no shame in that! Can't see Nkunku being back fully fit for the first leg.

He is but then is he still gonna be first choice or are they just gonna loan him out/back to BMG until his Bayern contract is over? Weird one to rush for imho.

Well we don't know, Pep's known to think himself out of games so... lol

RBL Matchday

Well, slight reprieve from the Everton circus this evening as it's back to cup action for the Bulls as they look to defend the crown at home to Hoffenheim in the DFB-Pokal. The away side are in bad form with 4 defeats in the last 5 but still got talented players like Kramaric and it's a cup game so they'll be right up for it. Back to the same-ish lineup from the Schalke game from this with the only difference being the injured Olmo dropping out for Forsberg. Strong XI, no excuses.

Game is LIVE from 5pm
