Transfer Rumour Raul Jimenez

I hope we sign him and he's exactly what we need even if only so I can vault the utter moon heads who continue to write players off before they've even signed.
People have looked at his goals per games ratio and made a judgement on that solely. They didn't stop to consider that those games might have been 1 minute substitute appearances. That's because those people are morons. I can't WAIT to vault you all when he comes here and is boss.
Exactly this.

But not really though. Every American poster on her thinks he's crap. We get the pleasure of seeing almost all Mexico games over here. He's just not very good. If he signs, I'll gladly be proven wrong.

When Mexican players play for mexico generally they all look crap. I have watched many of their games and honestly they are awful as a group of international players.

It's like they don't care or maybe its the fact they have had so many head coaches as a national team in so short years.

They ever only seem to play well in friendly games or against really weak opposition.

The fact an under strength/ experimental US lineup continues to get good results against them tells it all.

I don't necessarily agree as they make the round of 16 at virtually every World Cup regardless of who is in charge or who they play. They also have some players that stand out. Raul J hasn't been one of them.

See that's my point they have the quality and should advance further than the second round.

They expect to win the Gold cup every time and its expected of them yet they have fallen twice in the last 3 not even making the final.

With the exception of the result against France in 2010 and a draw against Brazil in 2014 normally against tough opponents they lost but against the weak qualifiers they managed results.

If they were to reach the quarters in any of those world cups i would agree with you but nowadays with some of the quality of qualifiers its not hard to make the second round as long as you are not in one of those dreaded groups of death.

Mexico last 3 group drawings in a World Cup were pretty decent to them.

Ask any Mexican fan and they will tell you how disappointed they are with their national team. A lot of the guys i work with who are avid fans say they just don't cut it.

watched around two thirds of all Benfica games over the past 2 seasons. jimenez is definitely not Everton quality. he's not even Benfica quality, mind you.
