Also, he is on the verge of becoming a regular in the swedish national team, so a move to a bigger league would, in the long run, be a smarter move for him.

Give a year and I bet we could have moved one on at a profit. You should be aware that with them we would have had cover for both full back positions and if I recall Walker can also do CB. So I do think it would have been a good do. If Walker had gone back to SU on loan they would have been paying his wages. I know this is getting ridiculous! How is it that even finishing 5th and getting to the FA Cup Final we still have the sh***est transfer window luck? We get beat out by Tottenham and Sunderland?! And now Elms is probably a no go. The summers are more nerve racking than the season.
