Group B cars (Has them all...the original Audi Quattro, the Metro 6R4, Peugeot 205, Lancia Delta S4, RS200, 037)

Love moments like 2:20 when the Delta jumps and the crowd parts from infront of the car as it thunders down the road. Rally fans used to be crazy!

Had my skyline in for some work in Christchurch and they had 'Quadzilla' in there, a quad fitted with a GTR engine that was being prepared for the Race to the sky.

Madness on Wheels..... Rally's Craziest Years, is on the box on BBC4, on about the mad Group B years in the 80's.

Found this documentary on BBC iPlayer the Group B rally cars between 1982-1986. How utterly idiotic were the spectators on the stages? Let alone how daft the regulations were in the first place.

What does my head in is formula one had a spell where there were lots of crashes and fatalities, so they improved the cars, made the tracks safer, basically done all they could to fix it, group b had a few fatalities, they put a complete ban on it, no oppertunities to tweek the cars and make it safer for spectators, just banned them. Now formula 1 has its own channel, your lucky if you can find a few hours footage of the rallying.

They are all usually listed on wiziwig in terms of live coverage.
