youre just cherry picking stats. We've had loads of international footy so the last two months has been stop start. last four games we've played Conte's spurs, city and Liverpool, with the injury list from hell. And you make it sound like we're getting hammered at home by Sheffield United Newcastle, villa Leeds, oh no, that was last season wasn't it, with a 60m spend. We play arsenal next who have won 4 of their last 5, but that's got nothing to do with Benitez. its just the way the games have fallen, and the paucity of our squad. He is a good manager, as the world knows, if we boot him we are taking a massive gamble, cos whoever soft arse replaces him with cannot afford to fail or down we go. If a section of the fanbase is successful in forcing him out, and we get relegated, it's absolutely on them.
It's not cherry picking, it's our current form.

I would also add to your last comment, that if we keep him in post for too long and continue our dreadful current form then our relegation will be on the idiots inside the club and within the fanbase that are happy to support a failing manager despite the evidence at the end of their nose.

your putting the whole blame on Benitez is just rubbish. We've got a massive problem at centre back, and are playing players who are patently not fit. He replaced dcl with Rondon cos he wasn't given any faking money. It wouldn't have been his first choice, it was necessity.
Three times he's bought Salomon Rondon, three times. Nobody forced him on Rafael Benitez, he's signed him for his last three clubs.

@FrenchDarrenBent You silly boy.:D

If he's properly backed by Usmanov, he will deliver, simple.
Napoli asked him twice to rejoin.
The new management at NUFC (lol) would've asked Benitez back after the takeover if they could.
Ask Valencia supporters.
If it wasn't for Ian Ayre he probably would've managed Liverpool again before they struck gold with Klopp.

He knows & cares more about the city than Koeman, Moyes & Ancelotti combined. He's tactically more sound than them as well.

Given time and money, he will make Goodison a fortress, give the team an identity, and you'll be in Europe. That's where Everton ought to be...

It's cherry picking at its finest. You can do with stats all you want.

What you cant argue with, are the happy customers at Newcastle, Naples, Valencia and Liverpool. Thats all I need to know.
He's a great manager. He'll get us there.
4 win from 14 league games. 2 points from 24. He'll get us there alright. He'll get us to the championship you kopite muppet.:D

We didn't get hammered last season. We lost. It's a squad that will lose games as it's not great.

Hammered is what we're going through at the moment. Injuries don't explain the levels of a 5.2 against Watford or 3.0 at Villa. It's not the winning. If you can't win, don't lose. Or at least try. Rafael isn't trying.

If a pornstar keeps failing to get a bonk on should he keep being given chance after chance to sort out his floppy nob or surely he should be replaced by a stud with proven stiffyness ? Rafael has been impotent for years now , time to put his sausage away and retire gracefully to Caldy.

Well there's an analogy for the books. And viagra is the answer.

Surely he has to go? Last night was the time to pack midfield and give them no room, he played 2 in midfield. A child could see the set up was wrong. He had options on the bench to change it a bit, chose to wait until we were 1-3 down before he did.

He should never be forgiven for Rondon either.

I seriously doubt I will be back to see the blues after this season, in the last few years we have had Allardyce and Benitez as our manager, what the absolute **** has happened to my club. I could weep at the state of it, here I am 63 years of age, traumatised by football, it just can't be right.
