Now I say this as someone who desperately didn't want him to be appointed...... but I don't get that logic.

The only way he's gone quickly is if he's a complete failure. The only way he's a complete failure is if we're failing too.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't want Benitez, but I can't bring myself to hope my own club fails just because of one person I don't like.

Really? I've not been enthusiastic about any of them to be honest. I got swept up in Carlo when it became clear he was actually going to sign, but I had reservations as to whether he was the type of manager we needed...

He's been hated when joining other Clubs before. He has a well worn script
