Warzycha's Caterpillar

Player Valuation: £8m
I wonder if they're still moaning about Howard Webb on RAWK. Very dubious penalty given to them today, and on top of them being totally owned by Sunderland all half. I can't recall the last time we were hugely outplayed and yet won a game with a fortunate penalty...?

They weren't handled a penalty at all mate.

That guy running around with a whistle said it was a free kick, then when the actually match referee, some guy called Lucas said it was a penalty they got a penalty.

Thats how it works.

That's their 6th of the season now (joint 3rd most in the league).

Meanwhile we're still waiting for our first of the season. We're the only team to not have had a pen.

That ref is a spineless [Poor language removed]. He saw it outside and called it right at first. I think he'll go into the locker room and see that and know what a complete fool he's been made to look by the linesman. It wasn't even close to a pen.

I'd expect Steve Bruce to be chewing the ears off the bungling dickheads right about now.

I like how the guys in the studio were about to explain how the officials reached that decision but mysteriously stopped talking about it half way through and changed the subject.

How on earth can a ref give a decision then allow the lineman to overule him? If the ref gave the free kick he mkust of been sure it was right so how can he then allow the lino to change his mind. If he wasn't sure it was a free kcik why did he give it rather than consult the lino first.

He's weak. Not fit to ref a game at this level. He'll be under big pressure by Bruce to even it up this second half, and pressurised by Dalglish not to eve things up.

Let's see if he has the bottle to right this wrong.

More poor refereeing in their favour after Mereiles blazes over after being clean through...

I'd take just 1/4 of their luck please...

We do seem to get our first penalty int he last game of the season...Yakubu was the last one I think? Also fondly recall the Big Dunc pen V Bolton...

Looks like ours will come in the 88th minute whilst 3-0 down at home to Chelsea, fighting Sunderland for 7th place...
