Name the 24 Everton players who played a league game for us in 2 separate title winning seasons.

Which two made the most appearances in those 2 seasons (tied for 1st - 82 appearances across two seasons)?

John Morrisey Brian Labone Gordon West Graham Sharp Adrian Heath Gary Stevens Trevor Steven Kevin Ratcliffe Peter Reid Derek Mountfield Kevin Sheedy Alan Harper Neville Southall Pat van den Hauwe Dixie Dean Ted Sagar James Dunn Warneford Cresswell Edward Critchley John Thompson
and 4 others?

A guess at the 2 is Rats and Ted Sagar

6 for me.

One thing baffles me.

How come only around 84% gave the correct answer for the question about which team we beat in the ECWC Final in Rotterdam

Had the same thought. Maybe it's the younger lads hearing about how great the Bayern game at Goodison was and mistaking it for the final.

Yeah, I'm sure it's this. Whenever you hear about that European campaign, it's all about beating Bayern. Hardly anyone mentions the actual final.

19 correct, not Dunn..

Maths error - 25 is the answer - 6 to get.

2 from 85/7 era, 4 pre war.
Is Paul Wilkinson one.?

Did Kevin Richardson play before he was sold to Watford. I remember thinking at the time WTF are we selling him for when half the team were injured.

Haven't a clue on the pre war ones.

What a great question :)

(I would have thought they would have been more, mind)

I am going to have a go.....starting with the obvious ones from the 80s.

Neville, Shagger, Ratcliffe, Psycho Pat, Reid, Sheedy, Tricky Trev, Richardson, Sharpie, Inchy, Alan Harper.

Less obvious to me but possibilities.

Mountfield, Wilkinson, Ian Atkins, Bracewell.

From the 63/70 teams.

Labone, West, Morrissey, Colin Harvey.

28/32/39

Dixie Dean, Jimmy Dunn, Joe Mercer, Jimmy Stein

Everton in La Belle Époque.

Alex (Sandy) Young

There is twenty four names anyway:)

How many do I have right?
