Anyone with t-mobile (UK) now, EE.

How are they? Think I've dodged a bullet!

Signed up for a boss contract, £89 iPhone 5, 24month contract, 500 mins, unlimited data and texts, but I've just collected it and it smells like a refurb cos I've tried to activate it and its telling me it's already locked to another carrier.

Exact error

" The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does
not appear to be supported.

Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used
to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your
iPhone or visit a supported Carrier's store to receive a
replacement SIM card."

Which the gimps at t-mobile tells me that it's locked.

Is this usual t-mobile behaviour for those already with them?

Just gonna cancel it and get a unlocked handset now tbh

I've got an Iphone on T-mobile(EE), I'm the full monty package, keep having promblems with the network. Even when I have a full network signal, I cant make calls or text, only had the contract a month as well, wish I was still with o2.

I'm with Orange but now EE.

Not massively impressed I have to say mate.

They took their bill out and then a few days later I had one from Orange too. I complained and apparently I'll get the Orange money back. I'm still waiting.

And quite often I lose signal even when not moving about.

All in all. A bit crap.

Same as Ijjy with that I am with Orange but now EE.

I can't open up pictures off twitter on mine unless I am connected to WIFI.

I got an Iphone with Orange/EE a few weeks ago and had some trouble unlocking it. The Iphone code to deactivate it simply didn't work on their website which resulted in me having to phone them and getting put through to an indian callcentre to explain the problem, which with me having a very strong accent wasn't as easy as it sounds. Anyway the guy on the phone sorted it eventually and i've had no problems since.

I hadn't had a phone for 5 years before that, it took me 40 minutes to realize where the sim goes ffs
