and whats Football like watching inside of goodison park stadium?? just curious more than anything

it will be dear as feck compared to oz mate, get a working holiday visa and come for a year.

i went to my school friends wedding yesterday, she's married an aussie and his sister was telling me it cost her and her husband 8000 australian dollars for the 3week trip

Not sure about totals, here are a few key prices I guess...
bus fare - £1.70 (this may be higher now) per journey.
loaf of bread - about 80p
Cheap chain hotel one night - about £40-£50. I recommend youth hostels if you join them. there is one very close to town in liverpool it's quite new.
cheapest way to get around the country is on national express coaches, which take ages unfortunately. Trains are quite good, but you'll need to book them as far in advance as possible, I think the earliest is about 6 months beforehand, otherwise they'll be expensive.

ok cool thanks for the replys. Reidy your suggestion of a working holidays is ace (y)

I did just that in oz. Not sure what the visa requirements are these days, but you may be entitled to a U.K. passport ? depends where your fam are from ? or maybe a european passport ? with either you could work/live anywhere in europe.... Greece is a great place in summer !! It's a well worn route for aussies and kiwi's tbh. and if you have rels that are too far back for a passport there is I believe an ancestral visa that allows you to work....just avoid the trap of getting stuck in London which a lot do and then never see the country.

I got a Granfather who is still got his british passport and was born in U.K might be able to get it though him mabye. Shouldnt be to hard Australia has a good relationship with The English. Btw why would i want to be stuck in london bore mypants of trying to watch london teams play. and would rather jump off a cliffthen watch chelski play unless everton are playing

I do not think so you are an Australian citizen. Grandfather has nothing to with it for example my gt grandfather was born in Oz but that does not I can go and live there or get an Oz passport.

if your grandfather is then you could well qual, usually has to be on fathers side of the family as I recall.

You can have dual nationality though r.j. my daughter is a n.z. citizen and also a british passport holder (born in n.z.),as i say there used to be something about rels on the male side of the family.
Is that deffo that you cant get an oz residents permit ? a passport is 1 thing but a res permit is another, i.e. you have to reside for a period before you can become a citizen and get a passport, I would've thought that if he was oz born then you would qual. again it could depend on which side of the family. Rules do keep changing like.
