I did.

Mind, if we'd won the semi I wouldn't have cared anymore.

But we didn't.

I'm not happy with gutless performances in either.

I want us to do our best in both. A good performance in one won't make up for bottling the other.

Mind under moyes we've never done well in either let alone both.

It's not that simple.

With hindsight, last year we didn't need to rest players because we lost the semi anyway, and being beaten by a Gerrard hattrick was humiliating. He didn't start Drenthe in the derby who played barely any games after that and it's not like resting players helped because we only drew 1-1 with Sunderland.

This year, was possibly our best chance of a trophy on paper in Moyes' reign yet we bottled it. Winning a derby wouldn't make that up. I'd rather us win 1 trophy than 10 games at Anfield.

I fumed badly, was only discussing it today with my friend its the worst thing i can think of that Moyes has done in his 10 years here i think. We shouldn't have to choose one or the other the players should be able to play 2 big games in a week.

It's a miracle Moyes was forgiven for last season really. To throw a derby, only to end up having to replay the game you rested everyone for, and then lose yet another derby in the space of a month is pretty terrible.

He gets away with murder.
