Question Regarding Weather

G'Day guys been an Aussie m yet to witness much snow i have never seen the ground white, just a little bit of snow that last 5 mins every few years and im just woundering hows the weather up there and is it looking good that the match will be played ??

I stay up to 2am every morning to watch Everton play somtimes i even have school the next morning. Watching Everton play is normaly the highligt of my week its very hard to be a true Everton supporter living in a AFL enviroment, the games been played in the middle of the night and been on the other side of the world but i love Everton and im looking foward to tonights game.

Lets hope the games still on,hope you all had a great and merry Christmas yesterday and and even better boxing day when we beat Brim tonight!

do you have Foxtel/Austar mate or do just watch from online streams??? its freaking awesome how Foxtel/Austar has every EPL game live this year unlike last year.

Joz mate I don't think any of us have ever witnessed weather like the last few weeks, at least not in Merseyside. The last 3 weeks there's been no thaw whatsoever, as temperatures have been freezing night and day, sometimes several degrees below even in daytime. Gardens and parks are still heavy with the snow that fell on December 17th, when everyone was out enjoying their office parties; below that is a thin layer of snow and ice from a week or two earlier. It takes 15 minutes to scrape off all the ice and get the car started in the morning. Football can still be played, as long as fans can safely travel to the game, but these are not normal conditions.
 
I feel you. I love my sport, EPL, AFL, Ashes you name it, but as an Aussie it's easy to see why Football (Soccer here) does not take off, the quality is just [Poor language removed], there's no atmosphere at games and I even distain my local team (whose marquee striker is Robbie Fowler, just my luck that my local team signs a redshite icon).

Watching Everton matches and reading all the pre match reports has become one of the highlights of my week and is always something to get excited by. Just really appreciative that I support a team with some real heart and soul.
