Sorry I can't hear any variance in queen. It's all utter cheese crap.

But I'm not a music snob. Give me a good sing along anthem anyway

That's basically impossible to choose from for me. I grew up after Queen were established and songs like 'these are days of our lives' and 'break free' are impossible to vote for/against with songs like 'Champagne Supernova' and 'Cast No Shadow'.

But if I was forced into voting at gunpoint I would reluctantly choose Oasis. So I will now vote Oasis and curiously check the results so far.

edit: Oasis are a bit ASBO so I'm pleasantly surprised Queen are winning.

Queen turned out about half a dozen good songs in their whole career. People only remember the hits. They're a singles band and have album after album packed with duds. Great they're technically gifted, middle class art school meffs, that doesn't make them a great band. Also after Freddie died let it go ffs, you're a bland guitarist and a drummer that can sing very high, just retire.
OK mate

Have to disagree.

Of course musical taste is subjective but I think they're great.

Also they were far from art school meffs. Roger Taylor trained as a dentist, Brian May is an astrophysicist, John Deacon was an electrical engineer and Freddie Mercury was an illustrator of children's books.

Brian May is an astrophysicist

I went to school with his son Jimmy. Didn't realise who he was at the time, he was one of the 'cool' kids so we didn't hang out. But my Dad met Brian a few times at parent evenings etc. Was a big fan but never spoke to him as it was too awkward!

Hey, let's analyze the lyrics to "She's Electric" lol:hayee:lol

Those lyrics lol

She's electric
She's in a family full of eccentrics
She's done things I never expected
And I need more time

She's got a sister
And God only knows how I've missed her
And on the palm of her hand is a blister
And I need more time

And I want you to know
I've got my mind made up now (mind made up now)
But I need more time
And I want you to say
"Do you know what I'm saying?" (what I'm saying)
But I need more

'Cause I'll be you and you'll be me
There's lots and lots for us to see
Lots and lots for us to do
She is electric, can I be electric too?

She's got a brother
We don't get on with one another
But I quite fancy her mother
And I think that she likes me

She's got a cousin
In fact she's got 'bout a dozen
She's got one in the oven
But it's nothing to do with me
And I want you to know

I've got my mind made up now
But I need more time
And I want you to say
"Do you know what I'm saying?"
But I need more

'Cause I'll be you and you'll be me
There's lots and lots for us to see
There's lots and lots for us to do
She is electric, can I be electric too?

Can I be electric too?
Can I be electric too?
Can I be electric too?

Haha :o
