I don't have a problem with a winter WC. I don't have a problem with the middle east getting to host the WC as they have great fans and deserve to have one. I just have a problem with Qatar. F-them. This should be Turkey's WC.

As much as I'd love to agree with you...my countryman Timothy Howard was world class in that tournament...and it means feck all at the moment. He's been a massive liability for us this season...so take your World Cup and stick it...it's not the end all/be all or judgement on a player.

Costa Rica impressed massively in that competition...where are they now? (the individuals)

Yeah fair point, Costa Rica did well but I wouldn't say they had any outstanding players who inspired them all the way, more of a team effort! The players I mentioned all inspired their respective countries to victory or at least the final. That's why I say the World Cup is where legends are made!

Andres Iniesta gets a great reception at every Spanish ground he goes to with Barcelona because he scored the goal that won Spain the WC, it's mainly what he'll be remembered for despite his accomplishments with Barcelona!

Love the World Cup, hate FIFA. I object to this as part of my objection to Blatter and his cronies. I'd love to see this start a break-away organisation from Europe because I really don't think that FIFA is fixable
