That's a sick joke on you're part right ?

Crikey, keep up mate.

We're consistently top ten. It's a fantastic achievement. That's enough.

********OBVIOUS WUM************OBVIOUS WUM**************OBVIOUS WUM*******************

are you the one who neg-repped me? not that i care, it's just interesting to learn that obvious sarcasm isn't always understood even among fellow blues.

What's a WUM anyway?

Cause the EPL is the most competitive league in the world? Would you, for example, take any club in Scotland, Holland over a top 6 EPL team (that the article mentions)? Don't think it's over-rating mate, just the other day Tottenham beat Inter 3-0, a supposedly 'top class, established' Italian team!

Just the other week Liverpool Football club were knocked out by the third best team in Russia.

Bit like the European super league that has been on the cards for 300 years

I have said for ages this would happen, loads of people say it would, the ceiling has been reached for the old school super rich, time or a new ceiling.

This is surely a practical joke from journalists right? I would be a little disconcerted about our rivals getting paid roughly half the value of Everton FC to play in a summer friendly tournament.

Think a lot of fans would do the same mate, no way the clubs could deal with the protests. English clubs not playing in the English league ffs

But how important are fans to the owners? Do united make more selling their training kit to DHL and shirts in Mayalsia than they do gate receipts?

Not really the point. Liverpool showed how powerful protest and disruption can be to a football club. Those sponsors you mentioned are associated with the brand, a brand which would be damaged if tens of thousands were protesting every week.
