Honest question - is it REAlLLY that hot in Qatar? I mean people live there, they don't die ( granted they are not playing footy )
 
I've not been to Qatar, but I've been along it's parallel. The heat is like being in an oven.

The average high is well over 100 fahrenheit for those months, so yes, it really is that hot.

It must be crap for the Japanese and Americans when the World Cup is in Europe to be fair. Sticking it to the Europeans 3 tournaments in a row is a bit much though. They should alternate between Europe and a Non-European country to make it more fair. Or at least base it on average time from GMT

That doesn't really make it more fair though, does it ? The majority of the viewers live outside Europe.
