I'm sensing an opportunity here: create a Union flag painting stencil.

Dragon's Den, lad.
Need to make sure the red St Patrick's saltire is closer to the bottom edge of St Andrew's in the lower half or it's upside down!! 😀

"The European Parliament has more than its share of eccentrics but few MEPs have been as colourful or controversial as the Rev Ian Paisley, who topped the poll in Northern Ireland in all five elections since 1979.

Dr Paisley became the first directly elected MEP to speak in the House when he complained that the British flag was hanging upside down."

Just when you think you've seen it all, what a tosspot.

It doesn't matter whose causes the concerns. You aren't going to get through to anyone by dismissing their worries no matter misplaced they might be. It is the duty of our politicians to have real conversations about these things. If people's concerns are misplaced then it needs to be explained without telling them that they are stupid and/or racist for being mistaken. Most people are willing to have their minds changed if they aren't being dismissed and mocked while its happening
Not sure that this is true but I don't know. I'm sure though, given what you wrote, that you can offer proof.

Yes. You don’t have to be a racist to be stupid but you sure have to be stupid to be racist.

In all seriousness though, what has any of this flag shagging achieved, where was this level of anger during the Tories dreadfulness? What’s logical about supporting Reform?

You can try and reason with them, good on you for giving it a go, but they’re all beyond redemption and when Reform inevitably get in and all their dreams come crashing down I will laugh at them and tell them I told them so.
The media is Tory. Tories in power means that the media ignore their behaviour.

Labour get in and the media besmirch them at every opportunity. C'est la vie.

That budget is going to get ripped apart now matter what she does,
Personally I wouldn't mind a bit more tax on my pay if it went directly to the NHS /Education ect and I don't think would be in a minority if they changed the narrative around tax, its like its almost a sin to put them up.
I would be made up if they announced a complete shake up of the system to make it more transparent.
They need to keep the likes of Miliband off the screen he just doesn't resinate with the public at all.
They also need policy's that the public can see is having an effect on there daily lives, not the likes of that innovation tax break that has cost around 12 billion pound to fraud, as the tax office wasn't checking them at all roughly 1% at one time got checked, companies were set up to get the relief and things like providing a vegan menu putting in a fridge were getting through.
It's stopped now , virtually nothing gets granted now even genuine companies trying to claim in the right spirit.
Its not to late to stop reform if they actually stop just reactioning to stuff and take the lead , don't think they will its not in Starmer's nature but they need to be right on there front foot from now on.
They have about a year to turn it around if they don't by the then it will be a slide out of government and the right will get in .
The NHS doesn't need more money. It needs to be properly managed. I don't know anyone who works for the NHS who won't admit that it is a joke.

My dog died. Don't worry about work. Take 2 weeks off and when you come back you will have a managed return. Is mornings only for two weeks OK?

I work for the NHS,I write FIT notes daily.

I also have daily discussions with patients about how it may not be helpful to their mh to sign them off and how work provides structure, purpose, social interaction, extra finance etc.

Large proportion don't care, if they don't get it from me then they'll try and get an appt via urgent gp request at the surgery.

Taking an axe to the PIP system was the best thing this Govt could have done and they bottled it. I assessed PIP for yrs and it is an absolute joke, if you fail hard enough you'll get money in your pocket.
