That’s very good news. Must have just been during lockdown.

Opened as soon as they were allowed and business been as good as you could expect according to Mark. TV games helped initially. The Oak is open also

The elm is due to close fairly shortly so I’m led to believe, which I’m incredibly sad about.

Sad to hear. Took my late dad and my sister there back on my last visit in 2007 before going to the match v. Boro.

Harlech open, segura open,elm open oak open, backhorse open, been in a few how long they can keep going heaven knows because its not the same at the moment, fingers crossed for them all.

Not too bad if you get near the pub entrance, it's OK a fiver, usually park in the bingo hall around the corner but can be limited in there so go the Elm when I can't get in, couldn't get in either for the Leicester cup game last season and parked in the petrol station next door......never again was about 1/4 past eleven getting out

Apparently they're going to build houses on the site of the Elm. There's a pub further down Westminster road called the Phoenix that's re-opened after a very long time.

If they close it wont be because there are no Everton games, surly 20ish home games a season isnt enough to help them stay open?

They take a lot of money on a match day. Helps keeps their head above water. I don’t think they’re all open 7 days a week anyway usually.

Its only the game kept most of them going but there seems to be more in than there used to be generally. Probs due to furlough etc.

Yeah they definitely make use of all the available space in the elm and the petrol station. The stress of getting out would be worse than the actual game!

Only the Winslow that I know only opens match days. Spellow is closed.
