It really isnt that bad though is it.

Bad manners and poor etiquette have always been a thing everywhere you go. Most people are fine

The queuing thing is weird though and seems to be everywhere. I've noticed it at traffic lights and even getting off the train.

I've noticed a decline in the civility of pub goers, is it my imagination ? I always take my glasses to the bar, let others before me be served, no feckin' queuing. Am I alone in doing this ? Any others ?

I expect also depends where you get served. Id say it still exists, but maybe away from the city centres more..

….lack of morals, human values and general decency is definitely in decline. I find I’m less tolerant of people than I used to be, maybe it’s my age but I think there’s far more scallies about.

Very little grinds my gears more than when people rock up to the bar after me and get served first. Cheeky sods with very little to no manners whatsoever

What's all this queuing nonsense at the bar? Put your elbows on the bar and wait your turn for the bar person to spot you like a normal person FFS

This drives me mad. My theory is people forgot how to order at the bar during covid.

Maybe it’s the fact a pint is about £7 a go? Or the fact it’s full of builders after work talking about how small boats are “terkin our jobs”

Its basic manners.
But they seem to be in shorter supply these days.
When did it become acceptable to cut in front of someone queuing politely at the bar?

I think the issue here is three fold:

1) Bartenders are not as efficient as 20+ years ago and do not actively keep a mental record of who has approached the bar and in what order.
2) It is now frowned upon to tell someone they are incorrect in their methods in case you hurt their feelings like a big bad meenie.
3) After getting a response to point 2, its deemed as very bad manners to give said bad queue'r a slap.

I'm the only uncouth one in the village.
Lots of decent places.I like France as long as you're near the Spanish border. But for all year round Valencia is the best,not too cold in Winter and not too hot in Summer and for me most importantly it's green year round.
