PS3 question (from my arl fella)

Alright lads,
My dad's looking to buy a PS3 as mainly a bluray player and to watch streams like Iplayer and probably netflix. He's got it in his head to get the 500gb one but as he's not a gamer I can't see why he'd need that much. There's that 12gb model and if he's gonna barely play games on it can you get away with a HD that small?

Yeah get the small one. You can always hook it up later with a bigger one if needed.

Why don't you get an 80gb pre-owned or something? Then you're in the middle of the range so you can't lose either way.

Worried about pre owned Tubes as you never know how someone's treated it. Could have been left in a small space overheating like crazy.

get the 12gb as you can allways hook up an external hd if you want too!

When did game consoles get so confusing?!

Tried to play Fifa a few months back and it was like a military operation. Updates, patches, disk space....

Tried to play Football Manager a few years back and the CD was no good, needed something called Steam.

Pffft.
