$250 or 250 euros for the 160Gb slim base model. We are finally entering the realm of me purchasing one so I can play Gran Turismo.

How can they afford it? They already make a loss on the PS3 anyway dont they? Apparently all the components cost more than the console, and it was used just to boost Blu-ray etc

Anyway its a great deal, i love my ps3, better than any xbox and ive never had a problem (other than that network thingy...)

Yeah I'm thinking it's a defensive move against the wii2 whatever thing that's due soon and playing the xmas sales which basically are the only sales in the games industry. I still hate the fact those damn yanks get everything 33% cheaper with their playmoney.

Have to agree i do love my PS3 bit of a famine of new games atm for it but its a great console

Oh and i still have my launch day "fat" ps3 still going strong after all these years
