Protests

This. Nothing would be more effective than a boycott of the Brighton game but 40,000 people will be there shushing anyone who dares boo and clapping these players and manager on and off the pitch.
SD,
You and me,
Foes of old.
Who do you want as our next manager? And would you advocate protesting to get such a man / woman at the helm?
Shoot.

My choice before Koeman was Pellegrini. Prem experience, attacking football, wins trophies etc. The squad now is nowhere near good enough for that now and I’m not sure he has the desire for a rebuild. Mancini would be an option as I think he’d turn us around and get rid of the slackers in the squad.

Simeone would be the dream appointment but that’s not happening. I think I’d go Mancini for a season or two to point us in the right direction and overhaul the squad then bring in a manager to play some attacking football.

Inappropriate Language
I hope the fat greedy ******* (was given a warning for using that word, which funnily enough isn't even a swear word and was even used in the batch report on the guardian website) is sung all around the ground next week. I hope he's booed and the fans have banner to make their feelings known. This man will need to be dragged out of our club.

I've no ticket for next week but I'm thinking of going just to hurl some well directed abuse at the fat fraud as he goes in? Anybody care to join me?
Sadly I don't possess a light aircraft or the banner would already be made.

Disagree on Simeone. Not because I don't agree he's an outstanding manager, I just don't think we would be able to attract him.

For me, Tuchel would be high up the list. I'm into my books at the moment and quite a few i've read recently suggest he's a manager that blends attacking intent with pragmatism. Went poorly at the end at Dortmund but that happened to Klopp too.

I like the clips of Fonseca but unsure about his suitability given he's not managed in one of the 'elite' leagues yet.

I just want someone who understands how to attack. Mancini was good defensively at City but relied on top tier talent to bring the attacking impetus. Agree on Pelligrini- can't imagine at his age he will want to start re-building.

Fonseca not suitable? His team is in the business end of the CL KO rounds...how suitable does he have to get

It's a knockout competition though, that would be my only concern. You get certain managers who are excellent at putting out a team in one-off games. Look at Martinez at Wigan.

I just said I was unsure. I don't watch the Ukranian league so genuinely, if you know better I am all for it. The clips look good, definitely.

Sam is a distraction - he was brought in by the board to do the job of being the figure of hate in the club. Bring in Sammy Lee for back up - and it takes the pressure off the board for a few months, gives us a new scapegoat for the massive balls up the club has made of the last couple of years.

Serious question my friends; is there any form of protest planned for after the game on Saturday?
I for one would love to be part of it. Allardyce deserves every bit of bile and vitriol that may come his way.

Fonseca would be an absolutely brilliant signing, and a realistic one too. I'm sure he'd like to manage a premier league club and he knows how to have teams play at a standard that's acceptable in Europe's biggest competition. Much better than this fat fraud
