Protest is inevitable if big Sam continues to stay beyond this season. That’s the whole point of protesting isn’t it?
What’s sad is the tacid acceptance of failure just by sitting at Goodison quietly and going back home and log into the forum and having a moan. That’s almost coward acceptance. I don’t even hear anyone singing to get rid of big Sam at the game. Sick and tired of being told to refrain from booing and criticising at Goodison just to avoid being called a Geordie.
our soft, quiet acceptance of doing nothing is a free ticket for players like Schneiderlin to continue and deteriorate to such a level, it’s the reason why we hold onto failure like Martinez and Koeman for far too long. Now it’s exactly the same reason if big Sam stays beyond this season.
If people are not comfortable with protest, simply don’t join. What’s the point of pouring cold water and high horsing yourself by mocking people who are willing to do something which you aren’t capable or unwilling to?
