The board are still looking 5 weeks later after sacking the manager that alone is a joke
I agree, but the problem doesn’t seem to be them identifying managers and asking them.
The problem is everyone we’ve asked has turned us down.
It’s like the striker story all over again. We identify people we want at the club but they turn us down because they are either happy where they are or we’re not a big enough step up

Haway, I’m just pointing out the reality of the situation.
What are they supposed to do? Kidnap managers from other jobs and force them to work for us?

Yes. Pretty much. Their job when they decide to sack, is to acquire the best manager they feel for the job. If that involves poaching someone, or convincing someone then yes that's their job.

lollol

Haha ok sure everything is fine, oops nothing we could do sorry.

You sound like a politician. Do you work in the public sector?

No blame to be had here, just jolly bad luck lollollol
Never said everything was fine, just there is no easy answer. If there was it would be sorted by now.

Protesting isn’t going to make any difference to a manager deciding whether to join us or not. Quite the opposite

Aye, it's odd.
Hopefully it'll change over the next six to twelve months.
You would hope so.
Wonder if it was part of the deal that Bill is chairman for a stated time.
JW been disengaged since the Gregg falling out
Keith Harris - why???????
Elstone and Barrett-Baxendale are respectively CEO and deputy who helped get EFC in the financial mire to start off with.
Mind boggling.

This is what we get for sitting on our backsides tolerating garbage for 20 years. Even the slightest bit of proactive behaviour and these parasites would have been gutted from our club. This is a dark day for the club and it's a disgrace that our board have got away with pulling the wool over so many of us for so long. Gutted.

Wouldnt say pulling the wool per say we knew what was going on in a round about way. The bottom line it all falls to old guard style of boardroom antics. Unfortunatley itll take another few years to get rid of the rot hopefully the stadium will be the holy grail and a bloody good shake will happen as investors etc will demand it as they want theyre money back asap but itll come at a cost with a load more pay offs to be had. What we cant do is wait that long so we need another investor = to mosh or there abouts. Someone who shares the vision instead of fliecing the profits
