So if R rating is officially above 1 so we going back into Level 5 to protect lives and the NHS?

I'm not. I bet all the players who have kept me top of my league all season will nosedive and I'll finish midtable as per every other season.

Of course the BBC will mainly get the games between the shittier teams because Sky and Bt have paid a fortune.
I still think they will get decent viewing figures though.

Yep. The irony of Bournemouth v Palace being the highest viewed PL TV game in history kinda fits in to this mad world we live in now.

Teams facing relegation are likely to have a $hitter option for sub number 5 than the clubs above them.
If anything, it's worse for those teams.

those two are fantastic examples on why VAR is not a level playing field

one of the big problems with VAR is that it rarely provides more goals, you may get the odd penalty that is missed then awarded but most of the VAR decisions around goals are chalking them off, its almost an exercise for the club of referees to show us how expansive and pedantic their knowledge of the rules is.

We've got so many injuries, we won't be able to field five subs, never mind getting them on the pitch, typical even Merseyside derby for you.
