Yes I can completely understand that mate. Like ive said, its not realistic for me.

I would think if you are hoping to completely jack it in though, posting on a messageboard that is predominantly about Everton Football Club is a bad idea!

There's definitely some irony of posting on a football website saying you hate it and you are going to jack it in!

I'm definitely aware of this and I think giving up the things around football would be the hardest. Going for a pint with your mates before or after the game. The laughs you have going on an away. The enjoyment that football brings is sometime in spite of the actual football. Particularly as a match going fan. That would be the hardest thing to give up. The actual football would be easy. We've been abysmal for the best part of 25 years so there's nothing much to miss.

So 2 positive tests in between rounds 1 & 2 and now 4 positives in between rounds 2 & 3.

So if any of these positives would have played football they would have passed it on and on and on.

They approved contact tracing today! Kin idiots

Thats what I dont get- surely if someone tests positive days after playing a round of fixtures both squads of those 2 sides who played have to postpone their following weeks fixture?

Makes zero sense carrying the season on.

Yep, what about training too, if one tests positive.
About time they sacked this season and sorted out finances with Sky and whoever else.

I think you will be surprised how many give it a miss, once out of the habit its surprisingly easy to not miss things, add into that the social aspect of the pubs still having social distancing, loss of wage etc and people wont be giving attending a game a 2nd thought
TBH I was getting pretty sick of football before it, I was disillusioned with it previously, but if the continue with the season I think I've reached my limit with football. The reality is football simply isn't that enjoyable anymore, if you look at our side that got to the FA Cup final in 2009, it was made up of hard working players who were actually interested in succeeding. Players like Howard, Baines, Jags, Lescott, Yobo, Neville, Arteta, Pienaar, Felaini Cahill, Hibbert, Yakubu, Osman, Vaughan, and Anichebe, yes they weren't perfect, but they were still far better than the current crop. You felt they actually cared about the club and had a relationship with the fans, other than Coleman, Baines and Gomes, I can't really think of any of our players that I actually warm to. Clubs like Sunderland, Stoke, West Ham Portsmouth and Newcastle have been or have nearly been destroyed by mercenary players. Football is boring an predictable, how many times can Liverpool score in the last minute or get a dodgy penalty and people expect fans who be surprised by it.

Love the rule about no spitting allowed. It's a reflex action. Training sessions will be five-a-side or worse inside a day. And think about Carragher; he'll be beside himself whenever he's on the highway.

If a player’s throat fills up with phlegm will he be expected to just swallow it?

A very unhealthy thing to do.

Kopites and Leeds fans - it wuz Brighton/West Ham/Watford/Villa/Bournemouth/Norwich players trying to cheet religashun

Scenes if one of the 3 clubs is the Kult, wonder what they’d say then?

Not a chance in hell the club would let that become public knowledge. They’d make them play in a match with the virus if it was a key player for them.
