The statement actually includes "finish the season, maintaining the integrity of the competition" - should read "continuing to piss all over any shred of integrity the competition has left" - it's an absolute farce.

i understand the thinking behind it but when they’re suggesting a 5 week lockdown, finishing it off by playing on clubmoor and a 100,000 testing kits even they must see its farcical .

They must feel like absolute knob heads with each passing statement and must be desperately hoping the government comes out with some miracle solution on the 7th of May.

Unfortunately I feel the government will sanction games somehow and thus deliberately endanger thousands of lives in the process all in the name of "lifting the spirits of the nation".

And there is absolutely no doubt that, after two games, once Liverpool are officially champions, the government will backtrack and close down the season citing too great a danger to those involved.

Millions of pounds will be spent and wasted on an outcome we all know already.

Integrity goes out the window the minute it's on a neutral venue doesn't it mate, without 30k home fans backing the team.

I'm not a fan of the majority of footballers tbh but to make it clear, they aren't robots, they are just athletes and the conversations some of these so called professionals and pundits have are just mind boggling.

Some of the journalists, pundits have been nothing short of disgraceful. If I didn't hate it so much I'd be on twitter and go on a macca rampage.

Nearly every idea I've heard is farcical mate. Honestly the best ide aive seen was a post on here yesterday where it had people in those big see through balls that you can roll around in.

This sounds true enough so of the highlights:

• Number of tests 60,000 needed for each club
• No renewing contract for players out of contract despite UEFA recommendations
• No fans in stadium until Jan 2021
• League to finish with promotion based on final position including promotion to Premiership

Honestly if we put this much effort into provide tests and PPE for the NHS, we would have the game sorted for the Summer.

I genuinely don't get why certain clubs aren't up in arms about losing home advantage for the rest of the season? Surely if one club comes out and says they aren't prepared to risk the health of their staff then others will quickly follow suit and it will be impossible for the league to force games to be played. I really don't understand it.

No Gary you massive helmet, maybe the players would like to make sure their families and kids are alright before sodding off for 9 weeks you scruffy little meff.

It is called zorbing or zorb football and it is an idea that I mooted some weeks ago. If I find out someone on here has tried to pass my idea off as their own I swear down I will call in my lawyers and these guys are hard nose bastards as well.
