Just need one club to come out publicly and object to the season re-starting. I'm looking at you, Villa or United. There is no way they could or would be sued as it is impossible to guarantee player and staff safety for a long told to come. As soon as a club objects to it the dominos will fall very quickly.

If the league get's voided, we'll always have the chance to listen to that muppet from Anfield Wrap whinging. Feel sorry for the people who had to stand by spongebob squarehead who once went to maccies in Page Moss, now he thinks he's a top Scouser , going round asking people if they brought their flag and what time their getting there. The media forgot to report on them trying to charge the police to get into the stadium as well.

The big fat idiot Harrington is the worst of the lot.

Got booed when he started screaming about us at their two CL finals. Big fat idiot.

Just read that the prem would lose near a billion if the season was cancelled. It isn't going to get voided anytime soon unless it gets out of hand when teams are back playing/training. My guess is they'll see how Germany get on and take it from there. People can argue about money over lives, but the sad truth is that's how the world is run.
If the leagues going to lose a billion quid because we can't play the final two and a bit months of the season, well then the league needs to get their books in order because that's a joke.

Can you explain this figure for me please because I’m struggling with it? Does this mean the Premier League is making £500m PER MONTH as it stands?

Having a laugh aren’t you? lol

No one can stay inside as it is. They’ll be down every street celebrating, and when you get angry blues down the same street, it’s only going to be trouble.

just have to give them some hubcap to commemorate the fact they were top before abandoned.

It's a bit harsh to assume they'll be out in the streets. They've been dignified (as always) throughout since the league was abandoned, not a peep out of them. The only time I've seen anything or anyone associated with them, is the occasional ex player saying football doesn't matter and that the NHS and the country need everyone to pull together for this, certainly not to worry about a football game.

Don't forget either that the v nature of being in a cult is you do as your told, if the instructions given to stay indoors they'll hold some lockdown Zoom parade, hosted by sky of course, all sat in their full kits talking about how 'this means more'. They'll each get to briefly talk about their 'scouse humour' semi literate banners they've made, before the show cuts to a glorious montage finale of all the good they've done for the NHS. YNWA will be played respectfully low key in the background throughout before a final image of captain Moore handing captain Henderson the title, accompanied by a table showing LFC: 19 league titles, Covid 19: 30000+ deaths - YNWA.

On Project Restart, I don't see it happening, if it does though and all the other leagues have abandoned, number 19 will be even more tainted. Not that they'll care as the number of times their ex players have fed the media and their fanbase that it would be a 'disgrace' if Liverpool don't get the title is unbelievable.

a little bit of sick just made its way up my throat.

For what it’s worth as the last time I posted so called ITK on here last summer I got ridiculed even though it ended up being right.

anyway a very well regarded ITK on a spurs forum I use who has very close links to an agent of a lot of not just spurs players but a lot of premier league players has been adamant for a while that regardless of what the premier league and some clubs want to do that players will refuse to play as they know the risk to them and their families is so high.

agents wanting to protect their clients, some of which are out of contract on June 30th will also advise those players not to play unless they have signed a pre contract agreement with another club.

Hes 100% correct, but £££££ will win this battle.
One of the myriad of senior clinical spokespeople who comment on such matters earlier stated quite calmly and matter of fact, that playing football behind closed doors settles all arguments about the concept being all about money and not the health issues.

I suspect it will mean clubs in the league rather than the league as an entity in itself because they'll be losing tickets, hospitality and probably merchandise revenue.

If it is in fact the league losing the money, well I really wonder where this haemorrhaging of money is coming from because the TV deals said they'd honour it.
