Also, how does it connect??? Via PS/2 port or via USB?? If it is USB, try plugging it into a different USB port.

Don't reformat....it is just a printer. Do things like check the cartridges, download the latest drivers then uninstall the current drivers and install the new ones. Try it on a different computer, see if you can isolate it to being a problem with the printer or not.
Reformatting is the last resort, but shouldn't be needed.
Even if I hated it I would stick around considering the money put into it![]()
