Primary Penalty Taker?

I remember playing Sunday League as a teenager and I was designated penalty taker. Possibly because I played up front. But whenever we won a penalty in the game, they all used to turn round and shout me. No one wanted to take it, ever. proper weird. I asked my old man once why no one else I played with wanted to take one and he said "no one wants to miss...".

Only ever missed one.

Good one. The only one that I can think of was Phil Neal at that lot, even though I reckon he also played CD.

Only ever missed one.

I was our penalty taker too (from right mid). Had a 100% record. I could point better than Neville as well.

Weird... I was just watching a compilation of his free kicks before, sweet right foot on him. Forgot to look at the videos of him being caught up field though, if there are any...

Baines should be our peno taker, unless someone's on a hat trick. I think I remember him missing once, in a cup match but he has nerves of steel. Don't think I'd have trusted Jelavic in that situation today, dunno why. Still looked away for Baines' pen, mind.
