Sky sports are reporting there is a large amount of interest with the bookmakers about Moyesiah taking the Newcastle job!

You have to wonder tho why ANYBODY would want to take the job???? Poisoned chalice springs to mind

I can't see any amount of money that would make Moyes leave a club that has supported him for 5 years, a club competing in Europe, in the semi's of the league cup and in a good place in the league, for a club that won't give managers a season to change the team, not in a european position and facing a replay to get into the next round of the FA cup.
Lets hope i'm right!

Well newcastle have said they've targeted a british manager in the premiership, strange to actually say that, maybe their getting a cut from the bookies. But that does only leave a couple of possible managers.

I'd say its either reknapp or moyse, has to be.

As much as i think, nah why would he, when your given a budget of £25M+ every summer then it must make any manager turn their head a little.

I can see why managers are tempted, you get the team right and the business is there to take it to the very top and you'd be a legend.

What about Gary Megson! He should be available. In keeping with his previous jobs, it seems like his Bolton career is his longest for quite a while! He is probably inching for a change of scenery

Made the point yesterday in the Alladyce thread, theyd be mad not to look at him and have a sniff around! Do i think he'd leave, no! But then nothing would surprise me in football! (What iodds would you have gopt on Mourinho being the first sacking of the season)

I think im right in saying hes not got a huge amout of time left on his contract either, that makes a difference, though i know they are negotiating another one!

I cant see Moyes walking out on his project as it has only in the last two year become his "team". That team is a couple of steps away form realisdeing his ambitions with us. Joing Newcastle would be like taking ten steps back.
