The Esk

Player Valuation: £70m
I looked at the Premier League and decided to break it up into top 6, mid-table 7, and bottom 7.

I've not decided what the order will be in each of the sub-divisions, but here's my prediction for the season 2014-15:

Top 6

Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton

Mid table 7:

Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Stoke City, West Ham, West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Crystal Palace

Bottom 7:

Aston Villa, Burnley, Hull City, Leicester City, QPR, Southampton, Swansea

What's your prediction?

Winners: City
Champions League: Chelsea, Arsenal and one of Everton/United
5-7: Everton/United, Spurs, Liverpool
Relegation: Burnley, Hull and WBA.

Surprise package: Palace - Although i'd argue they are hardly a surprise anymore. I don't think there will be a stronger candidate for 8th tbh. I'd say Mark Hughes is doing a fairly tidy job at Stoke, and they'll probably end up 9th, they're getting a good squad on a shoestring there, he's doing alright.

Villa, Swansea and Southampton will struggle, but survive based on the fact that there will be three worse teams. I think QPR will learn from their mistakes, and have a team, as opposed to individuals now, and will do alright. Leicester i think are the team with the biggest bite who have been promoted, and will struggle, but stay up.

And the rest? Boring. West Ham will sack Allardyce by November, and they'll get a steady manager aka Moyes, who will just stabilise them a bit.

Winners - Utd

CL - Arsenal, City, Chelsea

5th Everton/Liverpool/Spurs

Relegated - Villa, Burnley and WBA

surprise package - Sunderland

First manager sacked - Irvine

Winners - Chelsea

CL - City, United, Arsenal

5-7 - Everton, Spurs, Liverpool

Relegated - Villa, Soton, Burnley

Surprise - Leicester (In that they'll finish comfortably mid table)

4. Man Utd
5. Everton
6. Spurs
7. RS

18. Saints
19. Burnley
20. West Brom

Benteke will come back from injury to keep villa up. ah i dunno about villa, i do genuinely think they'll go down tbh, lost 4-1 to gronigen today. Saints look bleak atm, they just don't have any good players left atm if schneiderlin goes, who will join them looking at their current squad? WBA are doomed and we'll snap up berahino on the cheap next summer (y)

Barring any major, major signings I'd say:

City
Chelsea
Arsenal
Everton
United
RS
Spurs
Newcastle
Southampton
Palace
Swansea
Stoke
Villa
Sunderland
West Ham
Hull
Burnley
Leicester
West Brom
QPR

Think Ings will have a good enough season to keep Burnley up, Leicester are good too but you never know.

Lots of people having Villa relegated for the first time in the premiership... interesting and possible.

Top 4:
1. Chelsea
2. City
3. Arsenal
4. Man U

Upper mid-table
5. Everton
6 Spurs
7. RS

Mid-table (no order)

Stoke
Swansea
West Ham
Hull
Leicester
Sunderland
Newcastle

Lower table

15. Villa
16. Burnley
17. Southampton

18. Crystal Palace
19. QPR
20. West Brom

Spurs will definitely be in the top 7 group this season.

United to win it, Liverpool showed last season how easy the premiership is without European football.
