Because we don't sell out to a sugar daddy who will drop us in the financial **** when he gets bored of his hobby.
If City were sold to Bill Kenwright for a bag of chips they could sell 100m in players and still be a top four side. Plus they'd have 100m more than us. I'm cool with being dropped in that kind of a "mess." Do people say this because of the old "Abramovich put the debt onto Chelsea and if he ever leaves blah blah" thing? Because even that isn't true any longer. Chelsea are debt free now. If he left they'd sell some players and still be a top four side (at least a contender). QPR would be hurt I suppose but they aren't an established top Prem side (or a Prem side at all ... ha-ha!) so it's not like they are risking much getting in bed with a billionaire.

Because Kenwright and his mates are looking to make £100m profit despite weakening the club in terms of assets.

At a ridiculous price like that you may as well just say Everton isn't for sale.

The Walton's are too busy splashing millions on political campaigns and art galleries in the middle of the Ozark Mountains to pay much attention to British footy.

I'm grateful for what they've invested in my state, but I wouldn't want them involved in Everton. Sam Walton is dead and buried. They inherited their money. They aren't exactly savvy business people and they do not know a thing about football.

You'll do. Stick with Kenwright mate, we dont want to be a franchise like that other lot.

Much more pride in doing it the hard way, and as has already been mentioned on this thread the minute the billionaire owner pulls out the resulting fallout could set the club back years, multi millionaire owner will do me fine.

cause were about spirit not money, but that always gets us 6th or 7th as of late.

WTF? I thought the consensus was anti-Kenwright round here.

What changed your mind? His tears at Moyst leaving?

I don't want to be bought by a billionaire. Just someone ambitious with good business sense who has a plan to take the club forward.

Not really bothered if they dont have money. Its the fact they havent got a clue how to make it.
Signing **** deals with Kitbag, Chang and Nike and thinking its boss, pahahahahaha, thought they were meant to be 'businessmen' GSCE Business students would get a better deal.

Bit of a slip there DH, keep it real kidda

why's that a slip? i'm not part of the anti-Kenwright brigade. there's something admirable in a blue owning the club amidst a sea of corporate ownership from suits who don't even like football.

still...we're not alone in this. Daniel Levy is a Spurs fan and he's done a much better job than Kenwright from a business & marketing perspective. Hence, Spurs are a slight level above us nowadays in terms of marketability, finances and the actual football.

Kenwright out? I'm not sure.

oh right, haha! didn't notice that.

reckon it's safe to say those opinions have morphed to the dark side.
