That's what's really going to be interesting with Deulofeu. Will Martinez design the team around him or try and change him to suit the team. I'm not sure which he should do to be honest but whatever it is it will completely change everything else.

I think that's what Martinez has in mind too if they haven't already given up on a new No10.

My bet would be to go with Bobby still not having too much of a clue about the final third and just throwing him on in a free role behind Rom to be open for passes/get on the ball/tie things together/be a nuisance, and hoping for the best. There should be enough players around him to pass to/set-up/act as a diversion for something to happen.

There should be enough players around him to pass to/set-up/act as a diversion for something to happen.

Whatever the formation with Cleverly and Barkley beside and McCarthy behind I hope too much pressure isn't going to be on him to create all our chances. It's not like he's playing with a loads of players known for making the runs in behind either to create space for him to dribble or offer a pass. It's not necessarily personnel but tactics - Cleverly showed at Villa he can do either depending on the orders from the manager.

If Martinez does that we might be watching the same old thing as last season. I hope he's learnt from his mistakes.
