Praise for Moyes

Defo puts a different spin on things and makes a good few points that I personally hadnt thought a great deal about . I really did and still do to a degree picture Bill tapping his fingers just waiting for Moyes to say " Come on then lets do a deal " . For me its down to Moyes pride that Lescott hasnt walked yet and nothing else .

after his contact delay last year i dont think the board would cross dave again for fear of losing him if they even thought about selling him the would wait for the green light off moyse

JOLEON LESCOTT is a competent, if unexceptional, defender. On the Ferdinand scale, more Anton than Rio.

For a centre-half, a decent eye for goal. Premier League class, not world class. A stand-in for England, not a shoo-in.

Thats when I stopped reading, pathetic.

He calls Lescott an £8m defender rather than £18m.
I think this guy has kept track of the recent transfer fee boom that has resulted from stupid bids by City and Tottenham.
If Bassong is £8m and Zakora is £8m and Bridge is £12m???

Then surely i feel Lescott is worth twice as much at least.

Sorry to disagree but I happen think along the same lines though id stop short of comparing him to Anton " plug " Ferdinand . He is better than alot of defenders but no way on earth is he worth 18 - 20 million .

Hes not worth £18m, I agree, but hes far better than Anton frigging Ferdinand, even Hibbert is better than him.

Ahh Tony Hibbert the man the myth.... fast approaching a legend . A defender so lucky by way of fate that he has somehow manged to clock up such a number of appearances for one of the greatest clubs in the world . For the sheer defience of nature laws of survival , Tony I salute you .
