If we're going back that far, then Conteh should be considered .. his victory over Bob Foster was arguably the best victory by a British boxer .. ever.

From the Eubank, Benn era you have Michael Watson ... who I believe beat them both.

Conteh was perhaps the most naturally gifted boxer we produced, still won a tough world title back when only the top boxers won titles, still hard not to look at contehs career with regret, literally all the ability in the world
