There's no way it's a landslide for Trump

Not in Massachusetts, true. There was passion for Obama in the base, not as much the second time, but the Republicans are generally easy to beat for savvy pols, and Obama is a very savvy pol. There is none of that this year, and places like Florida might not even be close if we keep having riots and Hillary is recovering somewhere off camera, or if she shows up looking and sounding like Uncle Sal greeting the scabs at the gates. (see below)

I don't think people are going to thrill to four years of that the way they responded to Obama the lightworker, sorry.

If events turn for Hillary, she wins comfortably. My rule - if the election is about Trump, Clinton wins.

If it's about Clinton, if she keeps looking as shaky as she has and doubles down on a wall of denial about it (and she will), you're going to have to accept what many folks accepted when Reagan got elected in 1980. I was there for that, and this time has a good deal of malaise in the zeitgeist as well. The reaction to Trump winning will make post-Brexit look like a mere bagatelle. Clothing will be rent.

It'll be epic. Either way, we're doomed. It might as well be entertaining.

Hilary Clinton, 1969, aged 22.
