Potential or known Scammers - Wembley tickets

Buyer's Guide:- when buying tickets always ensure the following:
1) You are able to establish the provenance of the tickets (where/when bought)
2) Obtain seller's purchase reference number (which you can check)
3) Obtain the serial number(s) on the ticket(s)
4) Check with the issuer (get issuer phone number independently, not from Seller)
5) DO NOT send funds by MoneyGram / Western Union / Or equivalent
6) DO NOT pay funds into an unknown person's bank account
7) DO NOT use PayPal to an unknown person
8) DO NOT make payment using William Hill Cash Vouchers
9) Walk away from, pay now, receive ticket(s) later transactions
10) Be suspicious of the: "Let's deal through a safe intermediary sale"
11) Deal locally, meet: face-to-face, public place, afternoon
13) Read craigslist | about > scams
14) Forward suspicious eBay transactions to spoof@ebay.co.uk.
 

1st time on here as I dont usually bother with forums but thought i'd pass on some info to those blues living overseas looking to go to the semi.
This bit of info sheds some light on where some of the remaining 20 odd thousand tickets go to.
There is a company - sportsworld-group - who are the official overseas travel agent of wembley and they are selling packages
for the semi - 1 night stay in London on the Sunday night, plus a ticket in the Club Wembley (middle tier) seats from 260quid based on double occupancy.
Thinking it to be a scam, I got on the phone to wembley Stadium who confirmed that its all legitimate and that the company is a commercial partner selling commercial packages overseas.
These packages can only be sold to overseas addresses and not UK addresses
 
Gary Macneil/Richard Macver same person??

The aforementioned Gary Macneil gave me the name of someone he said he'd bought tickets from.

only a few guys tried to scam me so i am carefully now
there wash one i have different ad on ebay craiglist etc
any way can i ask how do you get my address

and on craiglist i sold him tickets and he never paid
but we cant find any address or nr from him

I know he s based Utrecht Netherlands
same as me i am based in amsterdam
make a small deposit
i dont have paypal so you can mail it or transfer it by Wu or moneygram
i know they say never do that because of the risk
but i can say it s safe
so then i mail them and you pay the balance after on the same way

he can you let me know wich website

I ring it several times, and of course just goes through to voicemail……….


Needless to say I went no further. I had no intentions of sending him money via WU but was interested to see what information I could get out of him

You can add Amrak Gill to the list of people not to do business with. This guy is a known scammer, often asks for payment into his William Hill account.

His telephone number is 07729 901 208 - be careful he has many aliases.
 
good work esk,
i'm sure if the powers to be wanted to stop this then they could, his phone number is there, if he gives details of his will hill account then his details are there as well. wouldnt take a great deal of detective work to cancel all tickets issued to them or do them for possession of tickets that they have no right to have. they have been allowed to continue like this for years and it needs to stop. or get the tickets and stop him from getting the wedge
 

Be careful buying tickets off a Dan or Daniel Jones - he has a history of taking the cash but not delivering......

Neither really, just think if between us we can save someone a few hundred quid and no trip to Wembley, it's worth it.

I don't know why the FA don't help the clubs identify the scammers - I know for certain they know most of the black-market ticket operators :@
