I think it's been a phenomenal season for the progress of Garbutt, Stones, Besic, Barkley, McCarthy and Lukaku -- The Magnificent Seven.

However I will be inconsolable if Garbutt leaves.

My positives

1) Signing lukaku. Wanted the club to sign him as he is more than just an investment.

2) signing besic. Favourite player by far at the minute.

3) Beating Wolfsburg twice, for a split moment we made ourselves look like world beaters in doing so.

4) Martinez has seen that his tactics doesnt work. Chances for him to change his style and possibly improve us.

5) Steven Gerrard getting sent off on sunday. highlight of my season lol

I suppose the big positive has been the introduction and development of lots of young players. Stones has again excelled this season. At Old Trafford the arrogance with which he dealt with Van Persie was astounding.
Robles has shown to me he is a far better option than Howard and looks a solid keeper.
Besic has been a good signing and will feature well in midfield.

We have also seen particularly Garbutt but also Browning come in and do very well.

There is a lot of talent below the first team level and we have a manager who is willing to blood that talent. I hope this season will be a chastening experience for them that they can learn from and come back stronger.

Also I have to say Darron Gibson returning to full fitness and looking back to his old self has been a excellent.

On the whole it has been awful. I hope in the summer we can learn from this, move players on and build around the young players we have. That would be the biggest positive we could take.

I agree that while we are at the wrong end of the table the performances are entirely irrelevant provided the result is good. Obviously the ideal is both are good!

Jagielka's goal at Anfield, Seeing some good new players and development of existing young players (like Garbutt). Most of all the letter from the clinic saying I don't have Chlamydia - big moment that.

While our Europa league campaign ended guttingly, I can honestly say I enjoyed it, while it lasted, and it did last a while..even the time in between matches when I would look forward to the next encounter. After all, football is about the game itself, and as far as playing goes, Everton haven't disappointed until the decisive face-off against Kyiv.

At last, he was found out and got his come uppance. What really has me with him, was in the photo when the Ref was holding the red card aloft, gerrard was gesturing with his hand and mouthing, "Me". Yes you cheating blert.

it gave me my biggest laugh of the season to see that.

Is that a reflection on our season or my dislike of gerrard? who knows!

Both Mate, it certainly brightened up the season and now along with Skirtl, both given 3 gamers brilliant. Mind I want to wish our neighbours good fortune and all the best to winning the 7th place trophy. Now that would be a positive.
