cut into segments, with a smear of hot english mustard down either side.

no buffet is complete without these little marvels, and a great addition to any lunch box on a day out. from birthdays to funerals these gems of the food world make an appearace. nice on a bit of a supper time fridge raid as well.

conflabulate on this matter as you see fit.

so which do you lot prefer ?

melton mowbray or artisan ?

the recipes also vary by region, a growler in yorkshire will be nothing like a cheshire one that contains apples, sugar and nutmeg to compliment the succulent meat.

i like a nice melton mowbray myself, but also like to partake in one of Yates & Greers finest with plenty of jelly.

There's a local butchers by my dads who does THE BEST home made pork pies ever, they're like great sex!

My mum had a Yates and Greer pork pie every day for the last month or so when she was pregnant with me. I've literally been eating them all my life. Lovely stuff, the more jelly the better.

Round here though, they serve them hot with minty mushy peas.

Mentals.

damn it, I'm trying to keep away from the larder, off to the fitness center later today, need to shed a bit of excess baggage, and I feel a bit peckish right now, spolit for choice in the kitchen, but no pork pies, I could just do with a micro meal right now, but must resist the urge.
