Unsworth till end of the season, Loew after the World Cup

That's the best outcome IMO
I think it should be Unsworth untill Christmas, the decide then whether he gets the job or not. I'm not even thinking of Koeman as an Everton manager anymore, he is truly dreadful my mind set is thinking about the next manager whether it's tomorrow in a month, but he definitly not the person to take us forward.

It's shocking to think that's where we are now, I was trying to kid myself earlier that a couple of wins will fly us up the table but knew deep down the performances arnt there, today confirmed this

aye...at least in Martinez's final season there was a purple patch in the autumn where we were playing dreamboat stuff

It's just so frustratingly bad.

There's nothing. No creativity. No Movement. No Idea. But most importantly no desire to win the game.

Whilst the players should be held responsible for also being dire. They're being told what to do by Koeman, who will be rubbing his hands together today, knowing full well, that we've been super lucky to even get a point. A point... away to Brighton, the side hugely tipped to finish Bottom, and we sat back and hoped for a draw?

When does it get better? When does he see that 2DM's arent the right answer? Schneiderlin? Dire. Baines? Dire... competition? Not a chance though.

I just can't see it geting better any time soon, and the worst thing is, Lyon on Thursday is lose-lose. We lose and we're out, but we may lose Koeman, we win, he stays and we're keeping Koeman. We're truly woeful. We have been since that first game against Ruzomberok.

We don't even look like scoring, never mind winning.
That was a game we simply must be winning, and we got lucky at the end to scrape a point.
They either don't want to play for him, or he can't get anymore out of them...or possibly both.
I can't honestly remember a worse team spirit, lack of desire, and lack of a goal threat.
So.....who would you like to replace him when he goes??

Before today's match I would have given him more time, but no fight and pride in the shirt on that pitch today. Yes he can maybe blame the board or Walsh for no striker or centre half arriving but it's his job to get the players up for the match and pick the team. Time for a new manager now I'm afraid!

People asking who should we replace him with as if that's some reason to keep him around is baffling. My skin would crawl seeing Sean Dyche become Everton manager, Unsworth is a nice thought but surely not a serious candidate for the long term, Ancelotti would be great but probably unrealistic. Whoever it is though, they can't be worse than Koeman currently.

FFIW, Stan Collymore's Sunday People article suggested that the players would indicate if Koeman was to go.
If they tried, he stayed
If it was the same old, same old ..... he was toast.

Bye Ronnie
