6 + 2 Point Deductions

This week, next week, next month… what does it matter?

Either way the PL are on a hiding to nothing as the optics are bleak for Masters whatever the outcome.

Give us any points back and it pulls the rug from under their claims of fairness, transparency and most importantly the ability to self govern.

Stand firm and don’t give points back, all hell breaks loose, the club gets relegated and goes into admin, the wider brand impact, more government scrutiny etc etc.

The lesser of two evils for them is to revoke the penalty, come out and say “we’ve listened” and are drawing up a “sustainable plan for football” or whatever marketing executive nonsense and deliver weeks of “time to move on for the good of the game” nonsense through the client journos.

Problem for the prem is the time to be decisive was months ago, they’ve only themselves to blame.

Whichever way this goes, we need to keep the heat on the cartel and show their precious world wide audience what a sham of a league this really is.

I still maintain Everton went into the first hearing relatively softly, hoping good sense, pragmatism, the PL effectively signing off on all purchases would see a slapped wrist and the mitigations fully considered.

Then after that in the appeal we’ve gone full on aggressive threatening legal action, lots of media trash talk and we’ll link up with other clubs like city and sue them at every turn damaging the “brand”

For this question, lets only consider the month of February in non-leap years. You can consider the dates from 1 February to 9 February as early February.

The period of 10 February to 19 February can be considered as mid February. The late period of 20 February to 28 February, you can consider it as late February.

Just saying lads.
